About Bill
Bill has practiced architecture for over 30 years.
During that time he has designed hundreds of custom homes in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut and Hawaii. Although Bill Hirsch has extensive experience in commercial and residential architecture, he has specialized in his passion, custom residential design, for the past twelve years.
“There is an emotion ingredient in residential design that’s just not there in commercial work,” he says. “When the construction is finished and the moving boxes have been unpacked, it’s really a thrill to hear my clients tell me that their new house feels like their home. That’s the best compliment I can get.”
Bill is the past President of the Delaware Society of Architects, a former member of the American Institute of Architects and NCARB certified. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia. He lives and works in South Carolina. He and his wife, Maureen, have four children and four grandchildren.
